About

(I am working on creating a new site. Meanwhile, here is some placeholder information. If you have any questions, please contact me on my work address which you can find at Employee search (slu.se))

I am passionate about data management – how do we create, maintain, and store data so that it can be used, reused, and preserved? In my role as programme and change manager at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), I embrace the opportunity to play an active role in the establishment of necessary frameworks, infrastructure, and routines for data management today and tomorrow.

I have spent over 20 years at IT Services, University of Oxford where I worked with and advised researchers using digital resources and tools. I also managed the digital preservation service, facilitated the IT Innovation Challenges scheme, and worked on numerous projects and services relating to the creation and use of digital resources for education and research, including major crowdsourcing and community collection initiatives.

My areas of research include crowdsourcing, corpus linguistics, corpus creation and use, corpora for language learning, Internet resources, and online resources for education. I have published in various formats and created a large body of documentation, teaching materials and presentations.
